Long story short.....I am trying to help a family friend who doesnt have the money to pay someone to swap out her cvt transmission. I found a used one at LKQ for $130.00 and it only has 62,000 miles on it. I am an A&P mechanic (airframe and powerplant) so I have some mechanical aptitude. I have however never installed a front wheel drive transmission. I have searched for 2008 Versa specific info to help me out but I am not finding anything. Is there anything out there to that anyone can refer me to?

I would be highly suspect of any trans showing to sell for only $130, and those early ones could easily be bad at that mileage. As well, it is always best to exchange a trans from the EXACT SAME YEAR when it comes to automatics, they change things up in them all the time, I've even seen same year ones cause trouble when mods are made mid year.
