2008 Taillight Lens

Good evening,

The outer cover has decided to come off of one of my taillights. The entire "clear/red" cover is off and I am wondering if anyone has had this happen and if you had any luck reattaching it with some sort of adhesive. Thanks in advance for your time.

It's just an opinion, but if it's the lens part of the assembly that comes off, I'd remove the whole assembly (out of it's hole, anyway), use weather resistant adhesive, let it dry, and replace it in its place. I've done that to another vehicle. I'm not sure about your 2008, so check the materials you'd bond together to be sure the adhesive will work. Otherwise, replacing the assembly may be needed.
