2008 Spec V oil light on after changing oi.
Anyone have this problem? I noticed my oil light coming on when taking a sharp corner, eventually it came on even when driving normally. I changed my oil Saturday, didn't drive yesterday, now today the oil light is still on. Any thoughts, ideas?

What oil filter did you use?

used Fram tough guard. i know not really the best, but have used before with no issue.

Make sure your oil pressure switch's wiring harness is plugged in completely and there is no damage to any of the wires. If that checks out OK, try an OEM oil filter (you don't need to drain the oil, just swap out the filter). The Fram filter may be defective.

Since you said you just changed your oil, I'm not going to ask a stupid question like "did you actually recheck your oil level?"
That being said, do as TC suggested and change back to the OEM filter, non OEM has been known to cause the oil light to go on in some cases.
