I took my 08 Sentra (96K miles) into the dealer because it started having a high pitch "whining” sound when the RPM’s would go up if I went up a hill at 50/60 mph. I was told my transmission fluid was 2 quarts high. The 2 quarts were removed to get rid of the whining. My problem with this is I’ve never added any fluid and all the multiple point checks over the years (at this dealer and a different dealer) indicated the transmission fluid was ok. Any ideas on what is going on with the fluid levels?
Thanks,
