2008 Rogue SL low beam hid zenon ballast

Will a aftermarket hid ballast plug and play with existing hid wiring?
The dealership quoted me $450 per for replacement ballasts!

Get a replacement on ebay. Any nissan / infiniti ballast will work. I replaced mine with altima one.

Does a flickering bulb Indicate a bad ballast?

No. Aftermarket ballast will not work as pnp. As for flickering of the light that could indicate most likely a faulty bulb. Replace the bulb to see if it's a bulb or a ballast

swap the bulb from passenger side to diver side and see if the problem switch side. If it does, that mean there is problem with the bulb. If not, then it is possible that its the ballast problem.
