I have a 08 Rogue, that I rarely have any problems with except for cold wet weather! If the temp falls below 36 degrees and there is any type of moisture on the road then the vehicles seems to skip or lurch and will not get above 20 mph. It can be 20 degrees and dry and run just fine, it is only when I have the combo of cold and moisture? Any ideas??
I have spoken with a couple of mechanics who have no idea and the dealership here in my area stinks!

ABS SENSORS COULD BE GETTING WET, AND FAILING. IF THOSE FAIL, OR READ THE WRONG READINGS - THAT WILL CAUSE THE TRACTION CONTROL TO BELIEVE YOUR SLIDING, AND CAUSE A LOSS OF POWER.

ANY DASH LIGHT? HOW ARE YOUR TIRE PRESSURES?

Tire pressure is good. And there are no dash lights that come on. I tried to turn off the traction control to see if it made a difference, but it did not.

hmmmmmm. well there has to be something electrical. water & electronics dont mix.

have you or anyone else tried to disconnect the rear differential coupler? i think its called a "coupler harness". its a little plug on the side of the rear differential: #3

if its shorting out, and engaging in weird ways, it could cause the jerking sensation you feel.

When was the last time you changed your air filter and/or checked your air box for leaves and junk?
