2008 "restyling"

Just thought I would ask what others think about the 2008 "restyling" of the front and rear of the 2008 M35/M45. I like the front pretty well (and actually wonder if the new 2008 grill will fit on my 2006 M45). But for the back, I HATE the new tail lights and trunk/bumper. From the rear quarter view, it looks more like a Toyota Camry. I think it has lost its distinctiveness. But that's just my opinion. I didn't really like the new rear end in pictures, but after seeing it first hand, I like it even less.

What do all of you think?

In general I like it. I like all generations of the M

The only two complaints I have with the 2008 models is the red "S" which looks like it was taken off of a teenager's rice rocket. However, that can always be removed easily.

Also, the new rims for both the nonsport and sport just don't seem to fit the car like the old ones do.

I think you're right about the rims. Although, I saw a set in chrome and I liked them better.

I love the back. My biggest problem with my 06 was i hated the tail lights.

ditto...that's why I didn't get the older version of the M and I waited to get the 08...
