2008 Pathfinder Transmission Fluid?

Hey is there special transmission fluid required for the 2008 Nissan Pathfinder? I have the V8 if that makes a difference. Regardless I had the transmission, diffs and transfer case serviced at Valvoline Rapid Oil and now it clunks once in a while when shifting. Any thoughts? They said they put in synthetic.

If you don't have the pump and a breaker bar for the two bolts in the transmission I would recommend getting them to put it in for you. Its a pain in the a**.

I know that my '05 requires NissanMatic type J. I would't run anything but the OEM stuff for a transmission. I'm sure the transmission didn't change from '05-'08. I've tried to run aftermarket fliuds in a Nissan transmission before, only to change it to OEM spec fluid after I had the same experience.
