2008 Pathfinder Service Engine Soon light.

Hi all, I just picked up my new 2008 Pathfinder SE V6, 4X4. It had .3 miles on it when they pulled it around from the new car delivery area. I was so excited… man this is a sweet ride! Anyway, just today while starting off on my errands. I noticed the "Service Engine Soon" light was on after I started the engine. I only have 189 miles on it.

I wonder if the gas was low grade that the dealer filled it up with. I read what causes the light to come on, checked every things, and found nothing. Any ideas? Can I reset the code by myself and then see if it comes back on?

well try filling the tank up now with 93 octane (premium) now. well i dont know what octane the 2008 requires but i know the 2001 manuals say 91 oct or higher (premium) but anyways, it might solve your "maybe dealer used regular" deliema
