I have a 2008 m35 and need new shocks but cant find any for the non awd version. Any site i go too including kyb doesnt offer anything rear or front for the base rwd model. I cant afford 3000 for dealership shocks! What do i do? Any help is greatly appriciated!

Welcome to the forum.

Is your car a base or a sport model?

If it's sports, search revealed this recent thread: post6754260.html?hilit=M35%20strut%20kyb#p6754260

If base...I'd continue searching this forum. Or splurge (for a bit more) and get some BC Coilovers for $900 or so (not including labor of course)...way better than $3k. But coilovers aren't for everyone.

I believe I recall someone mentioned they used G37 stuff? Don't quote me on that but might be worth a search down the rabbit hole.

I would use a site like infinitipartsusa.com and cross reference x year G37 with your year M35.

Your a genius to cross reference. So i cross referenced the g37 like you said and no fit. However i cross referenced the m35x vs the base 2wd and the rear shocks are the exact same! I got really excited since i can just throw some kybs on there. However im having a really hard time finding the front shocks. Part E6110-eg02b seems to only be made and sold by infiniti/nissan. Doesnt look like any other aftermarket company makes a direct fit. Please if someone knows a company that does please please tell me. They ar 350 a piece from the dealer! Cant afford or even justify that.

Not sure if you've taken a look at eBay yet. you might be able to find the shocks for an 07 & 08 M for cheaper. Granted they would be used but could be a cheaper alternative. I've found some stuff on there for my M and have been satisfied with everything so far. It looks like the 2WD 07 shocks are also an exact fit.

These are the part numbers for KYB shocks. Should be able to find the complete set for less than $300 on ebay. These fit on my 07 m45, just double check that there are no differences between the 06-07 model and the 08-10. Maybe someone else can chime in.
