Hey guys, according to Nissan North America, the 2008 Nissan Versa are now on sale. US pricing has been released and seems to be the same as the 2007 model. Sport package for Versa sedan is now available. I'm curious what changes are made to the 2008 model, especially to the HB. And are they also on sale in Canada as of now...? (Both the US and Canada Nissan sites have not reflected a change to the 2008 model yet)

Here's an article on Car & Driver:http://www.caranddriver.com/da....html

The main thing to catch my eye is the change in the EPA estimates. I wonder if everyone else is going to be 3-4 mpg lower?

I just noticed something else when reading that article... you won't be able to get a 6-speed SL sedan anymore.

As for fuel mileage, yes... everyone's rated fuel economy will change. It's estimated that most passenger cars will lose around 8% of their previously rated economies, but that some hybrids may lose up to 30% of their rating... which would bring the Prius inline with what it ACTUALLY gets, not what Toyota could get it to do in a lab.

No, you can still get a 6-speed S sedan... but not an SL.
