2008 Nissan Sentra odometer question..

Hi!! I have a 2008 Nissan Sentra that has about 14,100 miles on it...as I was driving the odomter suddenly went from th emileage to half looking zeroes and it beeped when it did it. It did it twice in a 15 minute period ... second time it did it I was pushing the trip odomter to see if any other parts were wiped away. I turnd the car off and went into a store... drove back home and everything was normal. I am out of state right now for the weekend and all the dealerships can't get me in.. It didn't seem to affect the way the car was driving... any ideas?? Thanks!!

Did any other lights come on (check engine, battery, anything?)?

Very odd. I haven't heard of anything like this happening before. It sounds like it wasn't dangerous, so take it by the dealer and see what they have to say. Without a repeat, it may be hard for them to give you any real answer, though.
