2008 Nissan Altima Remote Start Help!!!

I am posting to see if anyone has had a successful install of a remote start on a push button altima.

Currently I am taking my car back to the installer for some problems.
1st the automatic windows only are automatic on the way down. ( have to manually push to get back up).
2nd Not using the remote start the start button now has to be pushed twice to get car to start.
3rd check engine light is on.

the installer is reputable in the area. I am not questioning the installer. I just want to know if anyone has every installed a remote start successfully with all normal car functions, functioning properly?

Any help would be great. P.S. the bypass was installed so I could keep both of my factory keyfob out of the car.

What remote starter unit are you using? There's A LOT of different brands/models.

The window thing might be a simple reprogram, the way to do it is here on the forums. Remote starter systems get wired into a BUNCH of stuff behind your gauge cluster. Different brands and models work differently. There may be quirks or dislikes about certain "features". Either the install wasn't done right or that unit doesn't fully work with your car.
