Its a cheap fiber glass kit that retains the 1 thing most people hate about the car, the grill. I dunno what went into designing this kit, but it wasn't good ideas

I have to agree, it does look better than the stillen kit although you do have to be a bit more careful with it. Here's some more pics for you from some different angles. Blake, take it easy dude. The on time you've seen this kit installed on a car in person it looked like crap because the bodyshop must've been hella noob. I've seen stillen kits look bad as well.

It has nothing to do with that kit I saw. I just disslike the fox marketing kit itself. I hate the stock grill because it makes the coupe looks cheesy ugly, and I hate fiberglass because its not a material made to work with a daily driving car, its made to work on a car that doesn't ever hit anything. With my coupe sitting only a few inches off the ground. that kit would have ripped to shreads by now, wheras I've bottomed out the stillen kit, and hit a curb pretty hard before, with absolutley no damage to the urethane.

The Fox Marketing kit is a bit round for my tastes, I prefer the sharper Stillen lines. And I love the Stillen grille.

I agree with Blake about fiberglass as well. Scraping the front end is unavoidable some times, and I like knowing that I won't be leaving behind chunks of my bumper if I bottom out.

the stock grill is okay for me reason being the 02 03 altima came with the exact same grill as the one on the stillen front fascia. here's a pic for yall. I also have one sitting in my drive way. maybe a little weird to have two grills on the same car. 1's five years newer.

That grill design from 02+ was very popular and predominate for the Altima. That front end looks way better than ours.

i love the rims on their promo car though. They are made by WORK. I wanted them but they were impossible to get by everyone i asked they wanted to charge me a ton for them. They compliment the altima coupe soo well. but the nismo forged rims were my second choice lol

It looks like a rounded out version of the stillen facia with the stock grill. Just not my style.

Stillen's fascia flows better with the coupe's body lines, but I think the Fox kit got it right when incorporating the stock grill - it should allow your choice of aftermarket grills (once decent ones become available). IMO, plug and play solutions are better than being stuck with a single option or having to "modify" what you have.

Stillen's sedan kit is better looking then the coupe kit

Regardless not a fan of fiberglass unless it's on a Vette..

Why modify when it looks so damn good?

I know of at least one member here who has cut off the "blinds" to his coupe fascia... and another that has been talking about it... and some more who have said they'd rather have mesh like the sedan's fascia

i agree that the stillen fascia flows better than the fox marketing fascia. The lines on our fenders are pretty pronounced... Stillen keeps those lines, the fox marketing fascia muddles those lines and makes it looks a bit sloppy. Too many curves in the fox marketing fascia.. doesn't follow the theme of the altima IMO.

Regarding keeping the stock grill... that is a big let down. I think there is a 99% majority vote that everyone dislikes the factory stock grill. Keeping it would be ok if there were options other than overlays for it! BUt there are no real options. The Sedan's grill can be removed, our grill is fixed into the front bumper, require cutting to get it out. THere's no plug and play options for our grills (again other than overlay grilles)

dude are you special or something?

you state that our grill can be replaced, I refudiate it, and you say d'oh? lol... wow, that's exactly why my kids will not be going to public school!

lol, that was a d'oh on my part. kinda like when homer simpson says it.

Edit: ahh, now that I've sobered up from Saturday football... I see. I didn't think I needed to explain my lack of knowledge of the coupe's fascia (I thought d'oh would be enough), but here goes my "educated" response: I own a sedan, and know the grill is replaceable. From the pics I've seen of the ED coupe fascia (see below), it looked to me that it was similar - the stock grill would fit into the opening, which would mean that future aftermarket grills would fit.

And now, I now realize the OP is talking about the Fox kit...

the ED front fascia is 99.5 percent the same as the FM front fascia. Future aftermarket grills will fit both.

edit:

also, do they really have a cut out for the tow hook? Who actually plans on using the tow hook?

What do you mean there are no replacement grills. My t-rex grill is a full replacement. But yea the overlays that are out there suck.
