I have a 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5 S with the 2.5 Automatic CVT. Installing new engine.

1) Do I need to take off the torque converter and refill with CVT fluid? Or is this statement true?
"The torque converter uses Nissan CVT fluid NS2- the converter draws the fluid from the CVT. You fill the fluid into the CVT itself,"
2) If so what is the procedure to remove the torque converter, do I rotate clockwise or counterclockwise until it clicks and pull?
