We have over 1000 pics of the meet... It'll take us a bit to get them up and loaded, but suffice it to say if you wanted to see them that bad, YOU'D BE HERE.

Seriously, it's a great meet.

Well I've got a bunch of pics, but I haven't even copied them off my camera yet. Of course, I'm just going to add mine to the gallery that we put up with the article.

And FYI, thanks to everyone who registered under NICO. Once again, we took home 1st place for club participation! That's the 4th trophy in a row we are adding to our collection for the largest club in attendance!

Yeah..no kidding. On Sat....after most of the Nico guys left for the night, along with most spectators...it was like a ghost town in there. It was after 8 when I realized it (dosed off or something), and noticed the doors were still shut. My wife found someone with a green shirt on and radio....and told them they needed to open the doors pronto. He got on the radio and 10 mins later the doors rolled up After a 430am wakeup, and a 350 mile round trip drive, Sat night I was pretty beat by the time we made it back home....but I have to say I enjoyed meeting everyone, hanging out and had a pretty good time overall. Can't wait for the next Nicofest I'll get some pics posted up tomorrow

Sunday night there was almost a small revolt on trying to get the cars out early. I have lots of pics that I will try to get up later. I really enjoyed hanging out with you guys and had a great time other than the show sucking on some levels. Oh and for those of you who were there I am the owner of the LS1 powered blue S14. Oh yeah and thanks to those that gave me a push out the door!

As for the show sucking on some levels.. I think a lot of people were expecting something similar to the Nopi Nationals which this show could not even compare. They were trying to market Motorsport Nationals as if it would be similar to Nopi. Did you notice how every advertisement had the word "NATIONALS" spelled really large and you could barely read the word "Motorsport", I am sure that was just coincidental...

I had fun at the show but I was a bit dissapointed with it as well. On saturday when we first pulled in, we followed all of the signs that said "outside car show participants" and it lead us in a circle (there was about 10 cars playing follow the leader trying to figure out where to go.), it was completely confusing.

I was also shocked when I got the the convention center and found out that all of the outside show cars would be parking on a horribly unlevel, pot-hole ridden, field as opposed to a nice paved parking lot. The check-in/car registration process was very unorganized as well.

They should NOT have had a stage set up indoors. The only thing you could hear is a bad echo.

I realize the show was set up on fairly short notice so of course it was not going to be perfect.

There were some nice cars to see, the Nissans were the best of course but all in all I think I just went there expecting too much.

If we're involved next year, you can bet we will have a hand in making sure it's MUCH more organized.

We've been the top car club at the show for 4 of the past 5 years, so they kinda respect our feedback.

As for next years show in Atlanta.. Are the Nopi shows finished for good? no more Nopi Nationals ever again? I will miss it if they are done for

If there are no actual motor sports at next years show, I do not think my group of people will be making the trip.

We probably won't know for awhile. At least not until closer to next year's show. But don't worry, we'll be posting up all the information as soon as we get it. Just don't expect any updates until probably Spring.

I suppose I should contribute to the actual thread, here are some pictures I took:

Whoa.. whose sexy car is that? Oh, its mine

300zx

bootleg Saleen S7, dont remember the cars real name

Pics from the Nico sectionSkyline was not even in the show, just parked out in the parking lotthis was next to the skyline

800hp chevy with a massive blower:

350z:

Familiar sight throughout the day, appears to be a Boeing, not sure which model but BY FAR this was the vehicle that produced the most horsepower (at any one time you would see 7-10 planes in the air):

security golf cart w/ some hot ~6 inch rims, probably the least amount of horsepower at the show but thats a tough call with all the hondas i saw:

for the lolz:

more lolz, NOS energy drink can zip tied around an intake:

I didnt take many more pictures than that

That's a Mosler. Not exactly a "bootleg" Saleen. Mosler's are manufactured in FL and use a Chevy engine. It's based on the Corvette.http://www.moslerauto.com/

YES! Mosler, thats it. Sorry, I know its not a bootleg S7 but I think a lot of people initial reaction was that it looked like an S7. Though S7s are a lot wider and a lot longer and most likely a lot faster and a lot more expensive. Both are still good looking cars, that guy had a Florida tag so he made a pretty long trip to be at the show.

And oh yeah, width and length:

S7: 78.35 inches wide, 187.95 inches long

MT900: 79 inches wide, 189 inches long

So the Mosler is actually wider and longer.

Well well, looks like I was wrong. I could have swore that S7 I saw at Nopi Nationals a year or 2 ago was the longest and widest car I had ever seen in my life. Maybe I didnt get that great of a look at the Mosler

Thanks for proving me wrong

Yeah saturday was terrible, stuck there for 14 hours. We ended up just walking to our hotel. I was kinda pissed about how there were no taxi's at gicc nor when we would call for one they would just tell us there were not any in the area. We were right by the air port!

I thought all the RB questions you guys got at the booth was hilarious.
