2008 Maxima speaker specs for installation?

Hello...

I am new to this site, found it because I just purchased a 2008 maxima. I've always loved the model and am lovin' this car more and more. This site seems to have a lot going on, good job!

I chose to go with factory stereo/speakers so that I could put in my own speakers. The sound in it now is decent, but I'm used to more power & volume. Are the two rear-deck speakers any different than the others (besides sizes)? I seem to hear more low-end out of these than the ones in the doors. I'm curious if they are woofers or if it's just the stereo setting that pushes more low and less hi out of them. I'm hoping to keep similar sound without having to put a sub in the trunk.
