Just got a 2008 M45X. Noticed it has a 30 pin iPod hookup. I don’t have an old iPod. I purchased the Naxa Nab 4000 30 pin to Bluetooth converter. I’ve paired my phone with the converter and plugged it into the 30 pin, I play music and nothing happens. I’m on the iPod source screen and it says iPod is not connected. Anyone know why this would be happening and how to fix it, or a better solution? Thanks.

is bluetooh enable, is the volume from the ipod/phone up, is there an AUX connection that you can try?

The USA SPEC ipod adapter in my car, I'm pretty sure, uses the digital out from the ipod rather than the analog out that a lot of those cheap bluetooth adapters put out. I had a dirt cheap Sprint-branded adapter I used in my 95 Volvo that had an ipod adapter in-line with the CD changer but when I went to the M35, it didn't work for s***. The ones that do put out digital audio are more expensive so I just went with using the AUX input the ipod adapter already supported. You might want to look around for ones that specifically support digital out
