Hey guys. As the subject states, I've been having repeated problems and repairs connected to the APP sensor. It has been replaced three times. Last week while driving home all of my sensors went off and I lost HP. I took it to Infiniti of Orland Park and they think there's something that's causing the sensor to go bad, but don't know what it is. While they have it connected to their scanners, the car runs fine. As soon as they connect everything back, it goes back into safe mode. I had a new battery installed, and the problem is still occurring. I know there was a recall for this, but like I said, the sensor has been replaced three times already! The service department is very helpful and want to fix this once and for all (as do I!). Does anyone know what else could be the cause of this? Anyone have repeated problems with the APP sensor? I'm very frustrated!

If repeated dtcs for the APP sensor the fsm states replace the abs mechanism and electronics. It has to do with the accelerator pedal correct? Did they replace the pedal assembly as per the recall?

Hi svard75. Yes, the pedal assembly has been replaced. What is fsm?

Got it. I'm looking through the pdf files now and am unable to locate which one discusses my problem. My goal is to direct the service department to exactly where they can find the recommended repair for my problem. Do you know which file provides the solution?

OK, so I found the section regarding the APP sensor (EC starting on page 550), but what I cannot locate is where it states if this occurs repeatedly that the ABS mechanism and electronics need to be replaced.

So I finally got my car back last night after being in the shop for a week. Apparently there was a wire in one of the harnesses that was damaged. They repaired the wire and all appears to be well now. THANK YOU svard75 for the info and directing me to the FSM.
