2008 M45 Bose system

So it appears to me that the loaded Bose system does not have speed sensitive volume control? Is this true? Which means it is only on the lower end systems? It is talked about in the user manual.

Ok, should have read a little more. This setting is only available without nav.....strange..

I'm pretty sure that's what Bose AudioPilot does. I read that it will modify the sound based on speed and road noise, even if you have the windows or sunroof open.
