2008 M45 Bluetooth disconnecting

I did a search, read some posts, but did not see the exact issue I am having. My 08 M45 and my Verizon Voyager sync worked flawlessly for about 1 month. Lately however, the connection is being lost, suddenly. I have to turn the phone off and then the car will connect. It will stay connected for a period of time and without warning the Nav screen says (name of Phone) Disconnected. Can't figure out why this is happening? Is there an update to the software via my dealer. I called my dealer and they have no idea what the prob is.any help is appreciated

Follow post re: the bluetooth in car not connectin. I was having a battery issue with the verizon phone, ie: not taking a good charge. I finally made my way to VW store, replace battery and now voila, connect to car everytime. I never thought the battery could have been the culprit. Just keep it in mind if anyone you know has an issue
