Hi Everyone,
My First time here on this website and looking forward to being a part of this community...
I am planning to upgrade... but need some guidance/suggestions

I have two choices.... need to decide on one.The price and millage on both cars is close and both fleet cars.

1. > 2008 M35x, all wheel drive with Nav, backup camera, tint, and good overall physical condition. I did hear some belt noise but was not sure if it was normal. The car has ~37K miles.

2. > 2010 M35, basically a base model, no all wheel drive, no Nav, no camera, just wood trim. This car has ~32K miles.

I do use nav but also concerned about mechanical problems not covered with warranty. Please give me your input...pro's and con's
Your response will be greatly appreciated

thanks
G

you know these are personal decisions ,do you need 4 wheel drive in your area ? little garmin nav systems are 100 bucks, that is cheaper than one upgrade on your 2008 system
both are under warrenty 4 years 60k you should know quickly if you will need that warrenty
i like the bells and whistles and live in northern illinois i would pick the 2008
if you have a tight budget and live in south take the 2010

2010 has a VQ35HR engine and a 7AT. I personally would pick a 2008-2010 M45 or 2009-2010 M35.

Thanks JM45.
The 2010 will give me better millage but the with no major options its resale value will be lower.I like the all wheel drive, nav, and more options... but my main concern is the mechanical, cosmetic issues with these two model years. I was reading about the VQ35HR vs VQ35DE engine and would like to know from personal experience if there are any major issues with either engine types...or which one is better

I like the X model. I've had no problems w/the engine, but needed both new front wheel bearings at 52K and new shocks at 55K. That's it. Damn nice machines, the M35's. If you have a problem w/low testosterone levels, the V8 might help you...
