2008 M35x Replace AC Condenser & Compressor

Hi all,
I just received a quote from my mechanic that my ac condenser and compressor needs to be replaced and the cost to do the repairs $1,383.00. Can anyone advise if this price is reasonable for the repair?

I reckon it would be twice that at the dealer. You can look up the parts at Infinitipartsonline .com to double check for your exact vehicle.

I just checked for my car and the condenser and compressor alone are over $1400 for JUST parts. Then you have to add about $200 per hour labor and nothing on an Infiniti is less than a 2-hours labor charge. If you need brackets or any any ancillary items they normally replace with those parts, it's even higher. My guess would be about $2200 at the dealer.
