2008 M35x BAD STARTER

Has anyone had a problem with their starter on the M35x? Mine went out at 50k miles and had to be replaced :wtf2: ...2 weeks after my waranty expired. Of course Infiniti Consumer Affairs would not cover the repair. This will be my last Infiniti.

This is your last Infiniti because your starter went out after the warranty period or have you had other issues in addition to this?
Between my wife and I, we are on our 5th Infiniti and will probably continue to stay in the family.
