Hello Guys. I have searched the forums as I'm sure other have had this issue but I couldn't find anything. My 2008 M35 was sitting for a whole and when I tried to start it didn't do anything so I bought a new battery. Now I get power to everything in the car but when I try to start it, it makes 1 click and then nothing while everything else is still on. Someone please help lol been messing with this thing for 2 days.

If it's a loud, hard click from the starter solenoid then you either have a bad starter or a seized engine. If you can get at the starter to tap it with a hand sledge, it might just be a cruddy brush in the motor that needs to be jarred loose. If not, put a cheater bar on the crank and make sure the engine isn't rust-seized. If it turns by hand, replace the starter.
