Hello everyone...first time poster! I'm getting ready to turn in my FX at the end of this month. I've decided to go with the new 08' M35 Sport.

I wanted to get all my ducks in a row so that once I get it, I can have all the work done at once. A couple questions. I've searched regarding the lighting and I can't seem to find anything on here, especially regarding the 2008.

Can anyone tell me what all the bulb specs are for ALL the bulbs (excluding the rear brake LEDs) for the 2008 M...?

1) HID Bulb Size2) Fog Bulb Size3) Hi-beam bulb Size4) Clearance Bulb Size5) Turn Signal Bulb Size6) Reverse Light Bulb Size7) License Plate Bulb Size8) Map/Interior Bulb Sizes

ANY help would be much appreciated ! I look forward to spending the next couple years here

Josh

Welcome to NICO and the Infiniti M!

The M Service Manuals are here at NICO: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/M and the specific PDF file http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/M/2007_M45-M35/lt.pdf has all the bulb info you need for lighting information on the M (near the end of the file).

BTW, I think the 2008 Service Manuals for the M are not out yet. So, I am referring you to the 2007 manuals ... they should be similar enough to work.

BTW, a question out of curiosity: with a new M, do you really need to know all these bulb specs before you proceed with the purchase? They should last quite a while and not need changing too quickly!

Thank you szhosain for the info !

In regards to your question...yes...I do need to know all the bulbs. It's just one of the many mods that I like to do. I replaced all the stock bulbs on my FX yesterday in preparation to turn it back in and I can't believe the difference ! All the stock bulbs look so yellow. If you're wondering, I don't like the blue "hyper" bulbs or anything, but for the HID's I will be getting 8000K color temp and matching LED bulbs for the rest of the car (although I'm not sure what to use on the fogs yet).

Thank you for your help :-)

I too don't like the M lighting scheme. In fact, I really labored over buying an M because of the orange dash lights.

Are you saying they are reasonably easy to change? Another post on here said "forget it, nearly impossible to change dash lights, major headache", so I just let it go...

Sure do hate the orange color, though...

I couldn't agree more about the orange lighting on the inside. All the bulbs I'm going to change are on the exterior (with the exception of the map lights, etc). Did you know that the 2008 changed all the interior lighting from orange to white/LED color...????

That is one of the main reasons I finally am deciding to move forward with the M. You should check out the interior pics of the new M...

Hmmm ... I don't know why. I will ask an Admin to look at the files.

Okay ... try doing a "right click/save" onto your computer rather than loading the files directly into Acrobat. This seems to work better for our tests for some reason.

No update yet unfortunately. We are looking to figure out where we got the file in the first place.

In the meantime, I have the 2006 M version of this file ... if you want that one via e-mail, sure thing. Let me know where to send it (my e-mail is available in my profile for you to send me your e-mail address). It is a 10.5MByte pdf, so I hope that the e-mail system at your end can handle that!

FYI...for those of you who wanted to change your bulbs...I read on here on some thread (I think) that the map lights were in fact NOT DE3175 bulbs.

This is correct...they are size BA9 bulbs...in case anyone was wondering...lol !
