I thought the consensus was that the front was but the rear was not? Perhaps not a perfect fit, but nothing that a decent bodyshop couldn't make work.

I could be wrong, the research I did on it seemed to point that the front was interchangeable but because of the rear quarter metal panel being shaped a bit different, not to mention different tailights as well...that would make sense.

I think the 08+ sport rear w/ diffuser aero looks pretty hot. I was close to buying an 08+ sport front bumper to through on my 06 M35 sport, however, I recently scored a set of Impul 650ES molded fiberglass front and rear aeros from ebay...can't wait to get them on and w/ OEM side skirts.

You may want to do a little more research on it DaveM35x.

People say the front and rear dont fit...I would question that, as I have seen/heard of at least a couple of successful attempts.

with the front, you would also have to get a newer grill. i know the new grill doesn't line up with the 06-07 front bumper bc i purchased one to have color matched and there was a big gap between the bottom of the grill and the top of the front bumper.

which btw, i have the grill for sale, real cheap! shoot me an email!

Hey, I mount a 08 bumper onto 06 M35, no big problem so far. You will need a 08 grille also, even though I cut the bumper a little bit to fit the 06 grille, it looks ok. Also the 06 fender liner extension is shorter for an 08 bumper, and energy absorber is different for 06 and 08 bumpers, but you can modify these easily. All the major mounting tabs are the same.So far my 06 m35 have 08 bumper, 06 grille, 09 fender, 09 fender liner and extension, and 08 energy absorber.

So I was thinking about doing this but have an additional question. What about the Lane Departure System sensor...does it mount in the same relative spot?

And I am reading this correct, the '08 bumper will mount up no problems to an '05-07 as long as you have these: '08+ upper grill, lower grill and bumper absorber (unless you trim your '05-07 one) ?

Do you still have the grille for sale? I like the 08 one better.

I don't know if I have the lane departure sensor or not, is it on the bumper? I'll post some pictures soon.

Yes, and the 08+ fenders

Hi,if you just want to buy the 08 bumper, you will need to cut the bumper (or the tab of the grille) to make the 06/07 grille to fit in. The fender liner extension will not match very well with the 08 bumper, but it will be just a small gap which is also good for cold air intake. The headlight is the same. For the energy absorber, if you still have the 06/07 one, maybe just add some additional padding to fit with the 08 bumper.I would suggest to get a 08 grille and 08 bumper together.
