Just posting this in the event someone might be looking to upgrade / replace their early model M series. It's at Carmax so it is available with a 60 month / 150k total mile warranty with a $25 co-pay for repairs at any Infiniti dealer. I don't know the name of this color back in 2008, but it is similar to the current "Hagane Blue". I found it on accident today whilst testing a 2008 Mulliner R at a local bentley dealer nearby. I personally had a squinz and this is truly a well preserved M35 - no wear on the seats, and everything works. It has all options except the rear seat theater.

Wow, that's a beauty. I'm not sure they'll get $18k for it, but it'd be a solid buy for someone who's an M loyalist.

Carmax does not allow negotiations on the price and their prices are usually at least $1,000 higher on any car at any mileage. But ... I have bought 3 cars from them at 2 different stores and never has a single issue with them. They seem to do a good job keeping troubled cars off of their lots and nobody has a better, longer, more encompassing warranty so I reckon it all evens out in the end.
Personally, I would like this car to be about $12,000 but it's such a rare find that they couldn't help themselves jacking up the price. Good thing is when it sits on the lot, they will continue to reduce that price until it moves. Probably best to keep a watch on it and buy it in a few months after a reduction or two.
