UPDATE:im having a problem with my front rims(bzo king lip 22x8) puttin on the front bbks'. the arch of the spokes are rubbin against the front calipers. so i bought 25mm spacers but im afraid the front rims will stick out. so its either ride sticking out or new rims. if i do get new rims i want to get 22x9 so they clear the bbk but i dont know the offset to get.

The design of the rim, not the offset will determine if the rims will clear your calipers. You're going to need a hi disk rim.

It's funny, sometimes I feel the ppl who deal with these cars know less about them than the ppl who drive them, and that should never be...in my opinion.

If 25mm is too much just get a 10mm or even a 5m spacer. If they cleared a little bit without then u don't need a big gap by using a 25mm spacer.

For sure will clear the fronts, by a mile. The front sport calipers are significantly larger than the 2 pot rears. But the offset is not optimal for the front GTR rims, whether fore or aft. 10mm spacer would help, maybe a little more for the rear. I can tell you it sure doesn't look as mean or hot with fronts all around. THe M's (& Gs) look pretty tuff with rear OEM GTRs wheels tucked under, but I'm a little biased.

But it's going to be a LONG time for you to source ONLY fronts x2. It might happen, but you will pay a premium. You might get lucky if another GTR owner wants to buy the rears from you or the seller for track day or just to beat around in. I've already bought two full sets. And that was tuff enuff to come by at a decent price.

Not to rain on your parade or anything, but what exactly will do if you kill a rim? Throw your spare on ?? Not with those calipers! Then figure in at least a couple of days to get the rim repaired, assuming it's salvageable. If your M is not your daily driver, then it's all good but just something to think about. Even if you keep your stockers, you can't throw them on with those calipers without longer studs or those funky adapters. Personally I'm a little scared of those, but I guess that's a possible temporary option.

In my case, I know trying to find a OEM GTR rim, either front or rear, won't be worth the time/effort/stress level so I'd rather have a backup front and rear in worse case scenario.
