Hi all,
My name is Nels and I am new to the forum. I am looking at purchasing a 2008 G35 Sport Sedan and I had a mechanic perform a pre-purchase inspection on the car. Upon hooking up the diagnostics tool, he came up with a list of codes. He indicated that the car will be needing a new battery and there was a somewhat weak start which we think may be caused by the car sitting for an extended period of time. He believes that changing the battery might do the trick to clear the majority of the codes but I was hoping I could get a second opinion on whether I should purchase the car. The codes that came up are listed below exactly as they are on the printouts I was given from the mechanic.I tried googling all the different codes but I didn't find all of them and couldn't quite understand them. I would appreciate anybody's feedback as to how significant these codes may be and whether the car is worth purchasing.

C1706 PAST FLAT TIRE RR SEE SERVICE MANUAL

Based on the codes i was able to look up, it seems possible that many of the codes could be triggered by the low battery. It still has the original battery from the factory. The car has approximately 86,000 miles and the price is $15,500. Please help!
