2008 Infiniti ex35 trailer wiring harness installation

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

After looking for information without success, I ended looking by myself, so after spending a lot of time checking all the wires, this is a few pictures of the (working) result.

You need to remove the luggage rear plate, the luggage side finisher and the lower luggage floor spacer (INT-34 from http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/EX/2008/)

I installed this power module : http://www.uhaul.com/MovingSupplies/Wir ... wer-Module and this trailer hitch : http://www.autoanything.com/towing/73A3 ... 11353.aspx

Yellow on green : left turn signal
Green on blue : right turn signal
The black wire coming out of the bumper is connected to the battery.

This is how to fix the ground :

Installation overview :

Brown on red : Tail light
Red on green : Brake light
(Fixed on the left rear lamp connection)

I hope it will help a few of you.

I know that this post is 6yrs old but is there any way to resurrect these images? I just acquired a 2008 EX35 and want to be able to tow a small snowmobile trailer. Already have the hitch mounted and am struggling with the lights. I spliced in the tail lights and stop lights but am trying to figure out an easier way to get the turn signals than splicing into the bumper mounted turn signals.

I mean, I did it but it is messy and kind of redneck. I spliced into the tail light/brake lights on the driver side. Then I cut into a floor grommet to be able to splice into the L/R turn signals on the rear bumper. There was definitely a better way to do it but I couldn’t figure out how to get it all out out of one plug. The dealership was no help. They told me that they have no info on how to wire it for a trailer because it wasn’t designed to tow.
