I just crushed an OEM rim and tire and freaked when told the cost of the replcement rim. I want to replace the entire package and wondering if you can go with equal wheel/tire size on front and back. Also, anyone got a suggestion for a mid-range (cost) manufacturer for rims? I was thinking doing 245/35 -19 front and back.

Yes, they are quite expensive! You can go with the same size on all four if you want.

As for a tire/rim combo, a friend of mine just replaced his rims on his CTS sedan. I think they are Volk 19s...really nice black rims. He payed under 2k for rims + tires. Check out discount tire.

Thanks for the reply, I have a gunmetalk gray G, so I was actually looking at black rims.

If you want to keep similar-sized tires all around then I would suggest 245-40-19 instead of 35-series as those would be the closest to stock size. You can always look at ebay for a used replacement rim as well.

Check out Tire Rack.com if you havent. Great prices. Also, their website has a cool feature where you can select your car and color and see that the wheels look like on your car. They have a lot of good tire and wheel info. and reviews as well.
