2008 G37s Starting problems

about 2 weeks (on a sunday) ago my G37s would not start. should have realized i was having problems as a few days before, the dash lights would flicker when i started the car. Had AAA come and jump it and came home and put the battery on my motorcycle trickle charger. Took into infiiniti on monday and they ran every test and could not find any problem with the starter, alternator, computer and battery. Day before thanksgiving, same problem. had it jumped and charged the battery again. took into infiniti this morning, they ran every test they could, but this time they replaced the battery. Still not sure what the problem is. Any ideas ?

Its a little late but you should have used one of these.



By checking each battery cell with a hydrometer you can see if any cells are weak and not holding a full charge. They are around $10 and can assist in diagnosing battery problems.

My new G 37 S also would not start. The battery kept loosing charge. I managed to take the car to the dealer as I told them that my battery kept dying on me and they told me to take it and when I got there they said they had made a mistake and they did not have the battery for my car. As I was driving back home my eyes started to burn but did not know why, when I got home my brother noticed my battery was leaking fluid, a very dangerous situation. The dealer did not even bother to check it when I ws there. Now my eyes are irritated, the car is undrivable and I have no battery. Let's hope I find one soon somewhere else and that my eyes get better.

Dont forget to check for paint damage under Your leaking battery.The battery acid will eat the paint.It's also harmful to breath as well as an irritant to Your eyes.
