I am going to put a Cat Back exhaust system on my 2008 G37S Coupe.
I have already installed a Stillen Gen 3 Intake and Stillen High Flow Cats.
I am leaning towards the Stillen Cat Back system (~$1377 from Stillen).
I am also considering the Invidia Gemini system (~$925)
Any recommendations ?

I have the Invidia Gemini and like it but now have a annoying rattle that sounds like it's coming from the resonator area. One of my next projects is to work on it and see WTF the problem is. As listed above the ARC system has had some very nice reviews and while both that and the Gemini system are dual-muffler configurations the ARC system is much nicer (not "stacked horizontal" like the Invidia). It is probably a bit quieter than the Gemini as well.

I have the Stillen Gen 3 and the Stillen cat backs. I would love to get the high flow cats but no go in CA. I've been very happy with the Stillen set up. Great sound and I've found in combo with the Gen 3, noticeable boost. Just my experience. I have heard/read good things about the ARKS and Invidia as well.

I'd go with what RED recommends...I had a Stillen CAT-back on my 05 G35 coupe and it was decent...but I don't think I would buy it again. HKS has been called the best you can buy...but it's pricy.

I installed the ARK GRip exhaust today.
Look's great and sounds great.
Definitely can feel a bit more power.
Thanks for the advice.

Putting Stillen Grounding kit next weekend.
After that, either stiffer Sway Bars or some Suspension Braces.
I am going to run it at the Z Nationals Track Day at Barber in October, so I really want to get it the best I can.

Let me know if there is any noticeable difference with the grounding kit. Granted, butt-dyno is not very accurate :)

Hotchkiss bars are nice and easy to install.

Yes, I would like to know your experience with the grounding kit. I've been looking at that as well. Nice upgrades so far too.

Joe603-

Why would you not buy the Stillen again?
I'm trying to decide between a used Stillen and a new Ark.
I would save about $500. going with the Stillen.

Build quality was okay...tips started to fade where the Stillen logo was. Sound was decent...not loud enough for my tastes. I just felt it was a bit overpriced for what it was.

I was wondering if you installed the Stillen grounding kit and if so, what do you think?

Yes, I did install the Stillen Grounding Kit.
I really cannot tell any difference in the way the car runs or shiffts (AT).

So are you saying, to put it bluntly, that it was a waste of money?

Search for grounding kit on NICO and you'll find a few threads with various opinions.
