I need to get some new rubber..
The factory says 225/45-19 in front and 245/40/19 in back.

I found a sweet deal for Goodyear Eagle RSA's in the rear size....

Does anyone run the 245/40/19 on all 4 wheels even they are staggered? I know the front will be a little fatter, but any experiences?

The deal I found is thru big crumbs (4% back) then Tirebuyer... 658 delivered, then I will get another 28 back from bigcrumbs..

Any other good deals on rubber out there? I need a whole set and I am on a budget.!

I know some of the AWD Gs have run the same tire all around on staggered wheels without an issue.

could hurt your gas milage with that much rubber on the ground... ride quality could be effected too...

but as long as the VDC doesnt care i think you would be good, just sounds wierd having fatter front tires...

I'm running 245-40's all around on the sedan with no issues. Yes, the rims are staggered.

I was just researching online this same question about running the same size tire all around. My first question is for Audatious, what differences, if any, did you notice running the 245/40's on all four? I want to increase the grip and cornering without changing the overall ride too much.

My second question is for coupe22inches, what is your ride like running 22s? I bet they look great but how much does it affect the handling? I would love to see pics of your car.

Just an interesting note, which probably most of you know already, while researching tires it seems that most people are very unhappy with the Bridgestone Potenza tires, which I have on my car.. The major complaints are no grip, lousy cornering and the price. So I now wonder how much better my car would handle if I had a different tire.

I didn't notice any major difference between the 225-50 fronts and current 245-40's. I didn't have any issues with the Potenza's on my coupe other than the cost of replacement is high.

I agree, I don't notice any problems with my Potenzas but I was wondering if anyone running different tires now after having the Potenzas noticed any improvement. Good to know that your experience with running 245/40s all around works fine.

I have not really noticed much of a traction difference between any of the tires I've had...kinda weird I guess.

Well maybe not so weird if you've been running good tires everytime.

RE050A's first (38k miles or so), Hankook V12's (15k miles.....bad toe and camber ate them up), and currently ContiExtreme DWS. The first two sets were mid-high 200 tread ratings and AA A. Current DWS are 540 A A's so I would expect less traction but that's not necessarily the case.
