Finally got the wife to agree to keep both the truck and car after much persuading and one day while on the way home from work the rear passenger window falls down. Fortunately it wasn't raining and she didn't make a big deal about it. The other 2 windows worked so I eliminated the lock button and the fuse under the hood. I took the panel off the door and the motor would not engage or nothing so I took the window off the track by removing the two screws holding it pulled it up and taped the window up with some good old duct tape. I ordered a new window motor only since everything else looked good. Keep in mind I tried the window several times with the panel off and nothing while the other windows worked fine. I went with a rebuilt oem part with a lifetime warranty. A week later it came in and I replaced it. Once I connected the motor I raised it all the way and screwed the window back to the tracks. Everything seemed to line up perfectly, no binding. I never disconnected the battery and the window went up and down as before so I felt pretty good and looked pretty good to my wife since I was able to fix it. As soon as I get everything back together and pull the car back to the its normal resting spot I try the window one more time and it goes down as it is suppose to but will not go back up. I am dumbfounded and try again and again but nothing, no clicking noises, nothing. I sit there for about 30 seconds thinking why me and try again before tearing it back apart. It goes back up like it should. WOW so what do I do, what any normal person would do I push the button and lower it again. Guess what, Yep it will not go up again. After about a 30 second delay and some prayers it goes back up. I immediately lock the window button and explain to my wife to just not use the rear window that I just replaced the motor in until I can look at it again. No problem she says and a few days later it falls again. I turn the window lock off and check everything I know including the fuse under the hood which appears to be fine and since the other windows work I am thinking maybe a bad window motor even though it was suppose to be rebuilt. I remove the door panel again and take the window screws out so I I can raise the window and duct tape it up again. I take the motor and track out since it is under warranty I figured I would take it back and get another one. When I move the car back to its normal sitting place I try the other windows which worked before and they will not go up or down. Now the lock or unlock button doesn't work either. Now aggravated I try the driver window one more time and this time it goes down but the automatic feature doesn't work but it goes all the way down and all the way up but when it hits the top the rear drivers window goes down about 1/2 inch. I push the button for the drivers window down and when I pull it to raise the window the driver's passenger window drops another 1/2". The buttons for the other two previously working windows still not working so I go to get my tools to try and pull the back driver's window panel off and once I get my tools back out I try one more time and the button works to make the driver side rear window go up and I lock the window button and leave it at that. Since the rear passenger window motor is removed I was going to go ahead and order it since it is under warranty but what is going on. I don't even know where to start. 4 kids and one about to go to college so if I can do this myself it would really help. Sorry for being so long winded but I didn't know how else to catch up someone who may can help.
Thanks,
