I'm new to the forum and the Infiniti family as this is my first. I just purchased a 2008 G35S with 27k miles and have a few questions that I hope someone can help me with.

Car has a 5spd Auto and I was wondering how many RPM's should the engine ne turning at 70 mph?

Does this engine have a timing belt and what is the interval?

Also, I usually do my own maintenance and was wondering how hard is this vehicle to change the oil in?

Your rpm's should be close to 3k with the 5sp Auto.

The engine has timing chain and if it ever needs to be replaced, you might as well get ready to replace the block as well....

The oil change should take you 30 mins or less....

Yeah, 3k at 70 sounds about right. I'd have to check in mine tomorrow.

The worse part of an oil change is having to keep removing and reinstalling the lower tray plastic locks. You can get a nice metal undertray with a removable panel which makes life easy: 350z-g35-undershroud-under-engine-cover-t478800.html
