All, I have a 2008 G35S sedan that i'm looking at doing some mods to. I drive about 40k a year so improving MPG while bumping the HP would be great.

I was thinking about installing a stillen stage 3 cold air intake, swapping the Cats with Megan performance EXHAUST RESONATOR DOWN/TEST PIPES (how much louder would it be then stock?), then having a uprev tune done.

Is this my best bang for the buck?

How much improvement should I get?

Any other suggestions?

Intakes will work good and hi-flow cats as well. Not sure about Megan quality tho. Uprev is the tune of choice. Not sure what the overall hp improvement would be on a '08 sedan. Maybe 30whp?

WOW!! You DRIVE that car!! Thats a lot of miles! Are high flow cats legal and inspectable for road use? I just started a topic asking what the next best mod is after a tune, intake and cat-back...

Yeah I had a 2009 Malibu that I just got rid of that had 160,000 miles on it. what kind of tune did you get? Can you tell any difference in performance or MPG?
