The search function hasn't been exactly helpful for me and I'm in a jam.

I clicked over 120K miles this morning on the G...been a wonderful car which is why I havent posted here since '08 (no problems to trouble shoot), just oil changes, air filters and tires. I commute between Tucson and phoenix daily (thus the 120K) and on my way in one of the idler pulleys seized (hadn't really made any noise prior to this btw).

At any rate the belt didn't fail but popped off (am going to replace it anyway because it litterally hasn't been changed in 120K I know what youre saying a little early to do but I figure if Im in there lol) but the idler pulley spun itself off.

At any rate Im stranded in phoenix right now (I have found the pulley and belt (carquest) and found a ride to pick them up) but Ill be damned if I can figure out which size and what side (engine or radiator) to put the ratchet on to release the tensioner) . Im trying to do everything from the top (don't have jacks etc) and I can't see very well down in there because of the contrast of it being bright outside and dark in the engine compartment. Any input would be appreciated.!
