Hello- been visiting this forum for years, but have never needed to ask any questions. It's really helpful to have the answers to most everything all searchable and answered.

After reassembling the center console, I am getting an error "P Shift" with an up arrow, and an incredibly annoying series of beeps.

- The shifter is in Parking position, and the brake is engaged.
- All brake lights are working as expected.
- Replacing the Shift Lock Relay did not have any effect.
- The shifter easily slides from P to R, but the trigger must be pressed to switch from R to P.
- Disconnecting and immediately reconnecting the negative battery cable will fix the issue until I drive the car again.

I'm fairly certain it's electrical, and not mechanical, but no way to be certain. Functionally, there do not appear to be any problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
