Jsut purchased my EX yesterday getting it delivered this weekend. None os the salespeople could answer this question....where are the last two speakers located?

I assume by 11 speakers the two subs are included in that?? or is it 11 PLUS 2 subs?

Including the one sub under the spare i found 10 speakers.

Anyone know where the second sub or the 2 mystery speakers are???

I did not realize it is 2 - 4.5" speakers = a sub - no wonder it sucks!

I'm not impressed with it either. My husband's car has a Mark Levinson system so I am spoiled by the quality of that!

I am in the process of putting a 10 inch in the read driver side cargo area... box will be made of fiberglass... i will post pictures when i am done..

Thank you so much that really helps.....those Subs are small but the sound in this car BLOWS THE LEVINSON away. I have a levinsons in my wifes Lexus and unlkess you are using DVD audio the sound is definitly not as good as the studio on wheels.

Uh thats what Bose does!!! Their specialty is small speakers huge sound.

I am a major audiophile and I compared this system to the fames Acura ELS and The Lexus Mark Levinson....and its is more powerfull thatn the Levinson, and similar to the ELS.

I pick up my EX tomorrow.....are there any more stereo controls besides treble and bass???

Welcome to the NICO EX forum, glevitan!

Check the EX Owner's manual p4-14 (and p4-52) for audio settings. Not too elaborate, but IMO the "Driver's Audio Stage" feature works well.

BTW, if you don't already have an electronic copy of the manual, get one here.

When i first braught it home i was like "wow, its ALOT smaller than i thought it was when I test drove it"

But after driving it around and getting a little used to it....it is INCREDIBLE!!!

OK - I decided to locate all my speakers ...

Of the 5 speakers referred to above, I can only locate 3, all facing upwards ... one in the middle of the dash and one on either side.

Are there 2 more that face outwards mounted somewhere on the dash?

What do you mean by a "D-pillar"?

I believe they are the rear pillars in the cargo area. There are 2 there. Hope this helps?

Funny, I would have expected they'd be "C-pillars", but I suppose if you count the "upright" just in front of the small triangular windows, I guess they'd be "D" ... oh well.
