2008 EX 35

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Finally sold my 2008 EX. Owned it from new; 5+ years and 92K miles. Great experience with minimal problems (steering wheel motor, outside mirrors motor..etc).
The worst part of it all was the difficulty in selling it. Advertised for $17.5K which I thought was a fair price for a fully loaded, one owner, no-accident, maintenance records EX. After 2 months of good advertising, sold it for $14,5K. Not too many people out there want an EX. I loved it except for the limited legroom in the back. I am advertising a Curt tow hitch and a two-bike rack in the classifieds on this forum. Very cheap.

Could you post the link here? I am interested in the hitch and the bike rack.

Wow - I would have kept it if all I could get was 14k-15K... Can't think of anything better at that price.
I am sure part of it was the 92K miles... I know this could easily go 200-250k and 92 isnt bad... Heck - my son's 2000 CRV has almost 190K and it is still going strong, but the mileage and the lower price are definitely related.

That's funny because I put mine up for sale at $23650, and had a buyer who was very interested but wanted me to sell it to a dealer who would then sell it back to him. I then raised the price while I waited for him and got THREE calls. Finally a lady drove 4 hours to buy the car at $23,400. $600 more than I paid last Summer.

Miss it already but I know I can get another privately and get a deal like I did. Dealers are not paying much for trades on them since new 13s are discounted $9000. Lexus doesn't have to do that kind of discounting. But that's good for those of us who like Infiniti. I am looking at an 11 G37 with Premium and NAV with 36K Asking $23000 Down from $24500 two weeks ago. If it hits $21K I am all over it..

Man, those are some good residuals for the EX35.

I wanted a used EX35 or EX37, but was only able to find a used 2011 EX35 Journey AWD for $35K USD in the country I am currently living in. So I went ahead with a new $48K QX50 Journey AWD.
