I am wondering if I can swap a 2013 vq engine for the blown 2008 I have, and what additional components I may need to do so as the 08 has a 5spd auto where the 09+ models have the 7spd auto. I had the gallery gasket issue come up, and did all the work myself. However the amount of time it was driven by my wife while that was happening seems to have damaged other components in the engine; now its too expensive to fix with my knowledge and tools.
