2008 Driver's Window Switch Auto-Up

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I have a small, but manageable problem with the window switch on my 08 EX. The auto-down feature works fine, the auto-up feature no longer works. I have to hold the button to roll it up. It is only an issue with the driver's window.
My thought is that a piece of debris got in there and is blocking it, but it doesn't seem to stick or otherwise be impeded. Also, rocking the switch with the car off didn't seem to have an affect.

Anyone else come across this? If so, what did you do?

Did you try to reset the switch. I think you need to hold the switch for 5 or 10 seconds after it is all the way up. Please check the manual to confirm the process.

Awesome. :)
Did not realize that it had a reset function. Nor that it would be in the manual.

FYI:
Turn the car on - start button twice, no need to start the engine.
Roll down the affected window all the way.
Pull the switch up all the way (2nd position), and hold up for 3 seconds (I did about 5 just to be sure) after the window has fully shut.

Thanks again!

Good to know this issue is put to bed.

I was on my cell and couldn't reply but similar procedure for the Audi.
Hold all the way down, all the way up to the top through the whole range to reset.
However NO NEED to hold at top - (In the Audi just to clarify) :mike

The manual does say to hold for 3 seconds or more, but I suppose try without holding and with - whichever works for you. :)
