2008 Coupe Wheel Sizes?

OK, I may be loosing my mind. A few moths ago I was seriously thinking of buying an '08 Coupe. I want the mid level package (sunroof, leather, etc.). At that time, I believe that package only came with 16" wheels. The lowest, base package (with the cloth interior) came with 17" wheels. I figured I'd try and talk them into swapping wheels for me and giving me the 17". Well, I got busy with Mardi Gras and work and other such distractions and never did anything.

Fast forward to today. I was back at the dealer and every single Coupe there had 16" wheels (some cheasey steel w/caps and some aluminum). I mentioned what I remembered from a few months back and the sales guy looked at me like I was Gary Busse after a motorcylce accident!

Anyone know what the deals is with stock wheels. I want at least 17". Would prefer not to have to buy my own. Do any trim levels give you something bigger than 16"?

the 3.5 has 17" rims stock. those are the biggest stock rims on an altima coupe. the dealer must only have 2.5s there

Your peepers must be wrong.

The 3.5 comes stock with 17" Enkei rims.

Even though it was a 3.5............was it an SL by chance? Very simple though, 17's is what you want so make it clear to the dealership or take yourself elsewhere dude.

Absolutely, I concur. No way will I accept 16's, especially now that you guys have edjumicated me that the 3.5 should have 17's.
