Ok. I've been reading this forum for quite awhile and have a question about my 2008 Altima's suspension. By the way, great discussions!

How would I "firm-up" the ride on my Altima, without lowering it? I am sick and tired of the extra, unnecessary suspension motion when going over bumps. It's like there's an extra rebound from the struts/ springs that doesn't really need to be there!! Can I just buy better, separate springs and struts, or do I have to go the coil-over route? If I don't go coilovers, what manufacturer makes separate springs and struts and should I replace just the spring, just the struts, or both?

Ok guys... I would really appreciate a response to my question. Surely, there is someone out there that has replaced just the struts or the springs on their 07-09 Altima, to improve the ride. Any insights would be great. Thanks.

to firm up the ride why don't you try the k-sport or D2 coilovers? both will firm up the ride and you can keep the stock height. you can get them for arround 800$ shipped if you can get a good deal. last time they sold for 950ish on ebay.

also there is a BC RACING GB going on for 1000$ instead of 1200$ and free shipping.

for springs that don't lower the height...there are none.

lowering springs there is the eibach, the H&R and the SPRINT springs eibach being to least aggressive and SPRINT being the most.

no strut yet.

I made an interest thread for KONI FSD dampers a long time ago but I didn't do much lol...
