Hey Guys i was just seeing if any of you had some good ideas for some nice visual mods to the altima coupe. I just got my 2008 3.5SE coupe and i love it. So far the only thing i have done is tint out the windows and that has already made the car look a little nicer. The car is that slate/gray color. If you guys have any suggestions for small (not to expensive , as i just got out of college and the funds aren't to high yet) visual mods i can make to the car that make it look nice and sleek or would help it stand out let me know.

Thanks guys!

Super Cheap:

Overlays for tail lights
Eye-lids for headlights
LED light replacement for interior lights
LED light replacement for rear license plate/trunk
6000K HIDs (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/260747467418) assuming you don't have factory HIDs
Grille replacement (C-MOD, Billet, etc depending on your liking)
Trunk Spoiler, rear window/roof spoiler, assuming you do not have a factory spoiler.

BTW for those that will comment about the HIDs being "cheap", well I have been using them almost 3 years. I also drive with them on every day. They work fine. Also if you need replacement bulbs you can get a set for 11 bucks shipped. I have never blown a bulb or ruined a ballast.

You could always plasti-dip (kinda like painting) your rims! look at my stock rims painted...

If you hate it that's cool, but if you like it.. this costs about $25, it peels off if you hate it, and I can give you a lot more info on how to do it.

+1 to replacing all stock lights with LED HID
Nice car by the way!

I do like what you did with your rims. did you have the professionally done? as i was looking at having someone paint my stock rims as i do like them.

Also QR25DE i do have factory HIDs do you think its worth changing them? Also do you have any good links for the other mods you spoke of they do sound nice.

Thanks Guys!

I did these rims myself. You can YouTube search, plasti dip rims, and watch several videos about how to do this. None of these videos are very informative so you could ask me any other questions that you have.

I wouldn't bother changing them, although you could simply swap out the bulbs to 6000K. I suspect the OEM ones are 4300K?

Simple google search or looking around here will find out the other mods. Sorry at work :)

The first mod I did was getting the overlays for the chrome stache. Then the headlights and did the tails. Combine that with the Stillen lip and it looks even better. Those are the cheapest things to do.

If you need ideas of what stuff will look like, you can pop over to my cardomain that's in my sig. I have a dark slate coupe with the stillen front lip/skirts, color matched mustache pieces, and blacked out emblems, amongst other things.

Personally, I would say plastidip your emblems and grab some HID's; that's always a great start. Also look into roof/rear spoilers on ebay or other sites if that's your style.

Yep it's ocean grey, that pic was taken when it was very overcast outside, in the full sun it can be much lighter, kinda like this but even lighter sometimes.

All of this but I wouldn't do your rims in platidip it looks like crap after not that long. If anything just buy a used set of rims check the classifieds in NICO.

Cheap mods

Grill - 125ish CMOD google it or go on ebay

Stillen lip - 250ish

HID's - 30 from DDM Tuning online google it Also think about yellow HID fogs great for fog...

If you dont have fogs - Ebay they have the stock altima fogs - 150ish

LED Interior email me - [email protected] My friend seels full interior/exterior replacement, map lights, reverse, license plate etc

Exhaust - 3-500 Straight pipe it and get custom tips its the cheapest way

Intake - 150-250 - Fugita, K&N, Ingen....etc

Carbon Fiber Interior pieces - 2-300 I vinyl them Check my site or facebook is better
