I just bought an 2008 Altima Coupe 3.5L SE and I love the Factory system but want to add my old system to it. I have a Alpine-450 Amp with a single Infinity 12" dvc Sub. I have read about needing a line output converter, but also heard that if your amp has speaker inputs you don't need the converter. So, my question is how do I wire my system?? I have always worked with aftermarket H/U not OEM ones. HELP !!!

There are many speaker level converters out there. Soundgate makes some very clean full range units for $50ish. The PAC SNI-15 is usually fine for $20ish.

So can I just tap the rear speaker wire to the Amp speaker inputs, or do I have to go the converter route?

Here is what the amp I have looks like. See the Speaker level inputs.... What connectors would I need to connect to that?
