2008 Altima 2.5SL - Automatic DoorLock

Hi all -

does anyone know if the car would automatically lock it self as soon as you reach a certain speed? My old car (non-nissan) used to do that and i thought it was such a great safety option - but i'm shocked how the 08 altima doesnt have that (unless i'm mistaking).

Any feedback is much appreciated.

Nope..at least thats what my dealer told me.

no, the 2007 and 2008 Altima's dont have this feature, but it sounds like the 2009 Altima's will have this feature

That sucks... and I heard that the 2009 model comes out in August... maybe i should have waited the extra 3 weeks :-(

what you should have done is waited the extra 3 weeks for the 09's ot come out and gotten a 2008 at dirt cheap prices

lol, man can't believe the 2009's are coming out, I've had my 2007 for less then a year
