keep the rpms below 3000 for about 1200 miles and don't stay in a gear too long, keep it rowing through the gears.

Shift early and often for about 1500 miles. After that put a bit of vegetable oil on the rear tires and let some white smoke cover the neighborhood.

DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT. MY 2004 TITAN HAS 70K ON IT AND IVE DRIVEN IT HARD SENCE MILE ONE AND IT DOSENT USE ANY OIL AND RUNS GREAT. I DO THE SAME WITH MY 2006 SER ALTIMA AND IT HAS 30K. I THINK THAT A CAR WILL RUN THE WAY YOU BREAK THEM IN, AND BESIDES ITS UNDER WARRENTY.

Don't push it to hard for the first 1200 miles. Don't stay at any one speed for too long, like a long cruise, you should vary your speed a little. That's the factory recommended method.

How is this even a question? Of course you take it easy on a motor at first.

You can drive it at a normal pace, just don't beat it or redline it for about 500 miles. The engines are already worn in before they are dropped in the car. So taking it easy on it will help for your self satisfaction. But like i siad they already pre-wear it in to make sure everything is seated properly. Even though this is already done, i'd go about 500 mile more, then have fun w/ it!

There's a large debate no matter where you go on how to properly break-in a motor.

View #1: Drive it like a grandma, this makes sure nothing breaks.

View #2: Drive it like you stole it! The logic behind this one says that by "beating on" the motor you will properly seat the rings, where-as driving like a grandma will only half-*** seat them.

Personally, I believe #2 to be more logical, but if tooskerdo is right, then this may already be done. Like someone already said, it's under warranty!--have fun with it!
